Is he Jazz Club's teacher? Who is this guy? And it's strange that he's available anytime anyone wants to perform... Is he some strange guy living in the basement of the school? Is he the Phantom?

Who is the piano player? They never explained that "character" in the show. He just shows up to play the piano and then mysteriously disappears. Is he a teacher? Is he Mr. Schu's secret boyfriend?
